Frequently asked questions

GPA is the credit-weighted average of your grade points: each course grade converts to points on a 4.0 scale (A = 4.0, B = 3.0, and so on), multiplied by the course's credit hours, summed, then divided by total credits. Weighted GPA adds bonuses for honors and AP/IB courses on a 5.0 scale. Our GPA calculators handle both, plus high-school and college variants.

It depends on your current grade, the final's weight, and your target. Enter those three numbers in the final grade calculator and it solves for the exact exam score you need — and tells you honestly when the target is mathematically out of reach.

They are planning estimates, not official scores. The calculators map your raw section performance to the familiar 200–800 (SAT) and 1–36 (ACT) scales so you can gauge readiness and set study targets. Real scaled scores come from the College Board and ACT's official equating, which varies by test date.
